Blue happens to be one of my favorite colors, perhaps it is because it is my birthstone color, September Sapphire. And I love sea blue, reminds me of my days in St. Thomas. Gratefully, I am not blue in spirit, too much love for family and friends, especially a newborn, nicknamed RJ. Peace and Blessings, Y

Very good points Tai. Skin of color is a dermatalogical specialty. All doctors have not studied the variations in techniques to treat darker skin or have actual experience in this area. Everyone should do his/her research before choosing a dermatologist. Thanks for commenting on the post and pass it on!

A lil hair ain't never hurt nobody~ LOL

As I wholeheartedly agree with this blogger -- general hygiene should be an important factor in our daily routine… and simple practices such as shaving should not be neglected. My only recommendation to my beautiful black queens, if you tend to grow hair on your face … before you go playing with wax—I recommend consulting a physician, especially if you are of a darker hue… True story: I have a friend (remain nameless) … beautiful girl who unfortunately has issues with hair growing on her face… she started waxing, plucking, shaving and even used depilatories to remove the hair… she has pretty much damaged her skin; and I’ll just say in my opinion she should have just left that face stubble alone. Now her face looks severly burned/damaged and I don't know if that can be repaired.... Just a thought!
