Now that grades are in, my next project is getting my Christmas cards in the mail.  Cards come in so many varieties and of course you can create your own.  Today I received an adorable photo card of the McKinley girls.  Finding unique cards that are stylish can be difficult for any occasion.  But this year I discovered Whimsicard.   Three years ago WhimsiGal saw a void in the novelties/stationary market and began designing her own items.

In a recent interview with PDD, WhimsiGal stated “As the hostess of lots of parties, I became very frustrated that I couldn’t find any cute cocktail napkins with a chic Black woman on it, someone that looked like me and all of my friends who attend my parties.”

She called the company Whimsicard to reflect the whimsical and fun loving way she experiences and celebrates life with family and friends.   I fell in love with the company’s products after being introduced to them by a mutual friend of ours.    I found my perfect Christmas cards at Whimsicard, but the company has note cards and invitations for many occasions ranging from bridal and baby showers as well as princess parties. All of the products are designed by WhimsiGal and her team of artists.   She describes the holiday card design as “showing the expressive nature of black women.”    This card and all of the other products are available at http://www.whimsicardonline.com/index.html.  The holiday cards are available with a pre-printed message or customers have the option of creating their own.
