So divanaires, we are into the full holiday season. Christmas and New Year’s are only a  beat away and we must get our gear to be  dazzling  under the mistletoe!

I love the holidays and my ensembles usually include a  sweater, skinny jeans,  and a cocktail. . . . and NOT a Christmas sweater (thanks Professor Mac!).  My style is  more  along  the lines of chic found most likely at a boutique.

NV-U Boutique is a place that I frequent for a cute find. Owner, Nikki Vigilance, (thus NV) is a stylish diva that opened the boutique about two years ago. She has a true passion for fashion and continues to build her business. As always, divas are busy but we were able to catch up with Nikki and get some holiday fashion advice.

Q: What are some of the trends this holiday season?

A: This holiday season we are seeing sequenced and studded items. From jackets to dresses to sweaters and tops, studs and sequence are key.  The items are also very festive and chic.

Q: What do you suggest for divas on a budget that still want to “spruce” it up for the holidays?

So back to me; accessories are always  great. I AM ALL ABOUT ACCESSORIES. My jewelry drawer is beginning to look just like my mother’s, so I got it honestly. Some of my favorite pieces are from Bauble Boutik. I am also in love with the diamond and peridot necklace I received from the hubby last year for Christmas.  Don’t we all LOVE diamonds?
