Accidental Beauty
My morning facial routine usually happens in this order:
- Cleanse
- Moisturizer
- Eye cream
- Concealer
- Setting powder
- Pressed foundation powder and onward
After a very long night of grading essays I overslept. Being a Professor Diva means even when running a little late, I still must maintain my look. Well, the facial routine got scrambled that morning. Grabbing and applying the first thing I got my hands on, I realized that I had put on my foundation before applying my concealer. After a late night of grading essays concealer is a must! So I dotted the Lancome concealer below my tired eyes, added the setting powder and retouched the Iman Pressed Powder I had already applied. The reverse order and extra layering produced better coverage than my regular routine and resulted in eyes that looked as if I’d gone to bed at 9p.m. instead 2a.m.

I always have Rosebud Salve on hand. It’s not only great for lips but can use it as a moisturiser in a pinch and once I used it to remove my eye makeup when I ran out of remover sheets!!
